It was unfortunate that he had to go to rehab after his accident but we were pleased with his stay here. Stella & Harry Freedman House is located a short distance from North Finchley’s town centre. There is limited off-street parking available but many other ways to reach us.

Formerly known as Lady Sarah Cohen House, the care home continues to deliver quality care in a warm, Jewish environment. The floors have their own dedicated Care Managers and staff teams to meet the unique needs of every resident. They also have their own living and dining spaces, meaning each floor is its own unique community. Stella & Harry Freedman House offers highly skilled nursing care for people with complex care needs. We were treated like royalty by the family advisors, executive director, dining room staff, front desk, and building manager.
Moving in tomorrow so I don’t have reviews on everyone/everything, but this community is so welcoming, efficient, friendly and a clean odor free environment. Thank you for such a nice experience during a trying time and going above and beyond. When staying home is no longer best, knowing which senior living option to choose can feel like a lose-lose. Stella’s rehab is the Disney world of all facilities and I am incredibly grateful that my grandmother is in their care. She boasts each time I see her how well she is being cared for and assures me that I do not need to worry. Shortly after your relative moves in, someone from the service will call to see if you would like support. Our Emotional and Wellbeing Lead – Sheryl Smith – offers one-to-one sessions, or group meetings with other residents’ relatives and friends. This support is ongoing and will end when it feels right for you.

While there is no easy time to make this decision or start this conversation, Stellar Care staff members can help determine the type & level of care that would be best for your family member. There may come a time when the person living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia will need greater care than can reasonably be provided at home. Each and every one of the staff who I came in contact with was professional, respectful, supportive, and caring. My experience at Stellar Care the has been a wonderful one during a very trying time in my life. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement for expenses that go towards assisted living and Memory Care Services. Stellar Care is family owned and operated and accepts private payment only.
